Host: Boston Bruins Alumni

Kenny Linesman approached me last year, when Molly was still fighting lymphoma, about organizing a Bruins Alumni hockey game in order to benefit the Molly Fund.  Because of the conflicts in the Bruins schedule, as well as the fact that Meighan and I were totally focused on Molly's health, we couldn't pull the trigger and plan this event.  I am stoked to inform everyone that we're now locked and loaded and the GAME is going to happen!

The date is set for Sunday March 21st at 4:00pm at The Rinks at Exeter.  The mighty Boston Bruins Alumni vs The Surfers!!!  Ticket prices are $10 for adults and kids are free!  We will be posting more info on the website on a weekly basis in order to keep everyone in the loop.

Dave Cropper, owner of Cinnamon Rainbows, is the team captain for The Surfers.  We have been working with Dave in order to set our Surfer roster, but please email me your contact info if you want to play in the game and we'll be in touch.  There is a catch - you need to be a surfer and it would help if you can also play hockey...ha.

Since I posted an update on Molly's website and Care Page last week, I have been flooded with so many wonderful offers from folks who want to help ensure that this event run smoothly.  Thank you all, we truly appreciate the help, and I will make it a point to contact everyone who has sent me a message.  Sara Maccorkle has initiated Miss Molly's Helpers in order to facilitate everyone who wants to volunteer.  We need help selling ads in the media guide, securing silent auction items, selling tickets to the game, selling 50/50 raffle tickets during the game, and we also need a lot of folks slingin' "Molly" tees and bracelets during the game.  Heavy sigh.......We need a lot of help....ha.

Needless to say, we are hustling in order to get the ball rolling with the game.  Thank you all for your continued support, your beautiful words of encouragement that inspire me to get out of bed in the morning,  and thank you for helping us raise the money that's needed in order to help other families.  We are doing some good....
